St Columba Livestream Easter Service

Our Livestream Easter Chapel Service will be next Thursday 9 April at 11.30am (we’ll send you details closer to the time). In the meantime, if you’re keen, I’d love you to contribute to the service…in a remote way.

  • We’d love you to put together a short video (30 seconds max) about ‘What Easter means to our family’. We’ll pick a dozen or so of the best ones and they’ll feature throughout our Livestream.
  • The Song ‘In Christ Alone‘ has been tradition at our Easter Service, and if students would like to compose and film a dance or drama to the song, we will splice bits in to share on the day.
  • The Song ‘O Happy Day‘ has also been a feature of our Easter Services, if students would like to film themselves singing/miming/air-guitaring along to the song, we will also splice parts together into an overall video. So that we don’t all mime the same verse, use your birth month to determine which verse/chorus to do. Jan-Apr: Verse 1/Chorus. May-Aug: Verse 2/Chorus. Sep-Dec: Bridge/Chorus.

You can send videos to chaplain@scas.nsw.edu.au

In the midst of what’s going on in our world, it’s a wonderful chance to still be a community! I hope to hear from you with your videos, and I hope that you’ll tune in next Thursday for our first ever Easter Livestream!
