Year 11/12 Drama and Entertainment backstage tour and production at the Glasshouse

St Columba Year 11 and 12 Drama and Entertainment students were able to enjoy a very special backstage tour of the touring production ‘Therese Raquin’. After having the Stage Manager and Production Manager walk them through the construction of the set, costumes and issues of touring, the students were then spoken to by the Technical Manager and Event Services Coordinator of the Glasshouse. Here they learnt about how a regional arts venue works and were able to ask questions regarding the management and technical structure of such a venue.
The students then enjoyed the fantastic production of ‘Therese Raquin’ and were able to directly ask the cast and director questions after the show. Overall it was a great experience for the students in both Drama and Entertainment.
