It is that exciting time of year again where we announce the Year Representatives for 2018. Four weeks ago students from Years 7 to 11 were asked if they thought they were made of steel. Did they have the grit, determination and bravery to stand in front of their peers and help make a difference at St Columba? Once again great interest was shown from our amazing Secondary students, further evidence of the leadership culture that is firmly embedded within the DNA of SCAS.
We would like to thank every student who nominated in the various years for their inspiring show of courage in putting themselves forward. We would strongly encourage those who didn’t gain roles this year, to apply again next year.
We congratulate the following students who were nominated by their peers as the 2018 Year Representatives:
Year 7: Lara Neilson and Cooper Hone
Year 8: Jasmine King and Dylan Chin
Year 9: Montana Callaghan and Jesse Beard
Year 10: Olivia Stanley and Justin Eggert
Year 11: Bethany Heazlewood and Joel Power
Our Student Leadership Coordinator, Miss Watters, is looking forward to working with the new team of Year Representatives for 2018.
