Year 10 Drama Production “Spinning the Line”- a coming-of-age comic drama about the reality of choice and consequence surrounding relationships in the 90’s.
Austin Burt and Michelle Edghill captured and sustained the belief of the audience as two childhood friends who grappled with what it meant to be true to themselves as they grew into young adults. Supported by slightly overbearing parent figures played by Laura Stewart and Greg Mitchell and also blanketed by the demands of their peer group, the teens demonstrated truthful and often moving moments which built to a close to tragic ending. All students should be commended on their maturity in their approach to creating this performance which drew on issues still relevant today.
