Kindergarten 2020 Transition Sessions (Surnames I-Z)

Transition Sessions will be held on Friday mornings, starting on October 25th through to our last session on November 22nd, 2019. Children with surnames starting with the letters I to Z have been allocated the 10.00am timeslot for the first three sessions.

Each Friday we will run short classroom sessions that allow your child to familiarise themselves with St Columba and specifically our Kindergarten classrooms. Students engage in a variety of fun learning activities under the watchful eye of our current Kindergarten teachers and other support staff, who also value these opportunities to get to know your child better. The first three sessions will run for 45 minutes and the final two sessions will be an hour and a half. During these longer sessions, your child will be asked to bring along their lunchbox with morning tea so they can experience what break time at St Columba is like. For all of these sessions, please meet at our Front Reception entrance where we will guide you to the appropriate venues.

Friday 25th October, 1st November and 8th November

For the first three Fridays, your sessions will run from 10.00am to 10.45am.

Friday 15th November, 22nd November

The final two Friday sessions will be held from 9.00am to 10.30am. For these sessions, we ask you to pack a lunchbox with morning tea for your child so that they can experience break time.

Additional Parent Information Sessions

Welcoming you into the SCAS community is a lifetime partnership that begins with information being shared. We take the opportunity to share our educational philosophies and approaches to education with you while your child is busy in the classroom. We also invite members from the community who we believe can help provide you with further information as you prepare your child for school. Please look out for further information on specific topics for these sessions.
