P&F Committee Morning Tea

At St Columba, we pride ourselves on having a staff team that goes above and beyond to add value to the lives of our students.

Staying overnight for sporting trips, spending weekends facilitating musicals and turning up to school in holidays to assist students in developing robots is the norm. While our staff do not do this for the recognition, it was heartening to receive a beautiful thank you from our Parents and Friends Committee recently.

The P&F held a morning tea for our staff that was a celebration of yummy foods and a genuine heartfelt thanks from our community.

On behalf of the staff of St Columba, we would like to turn the tables and thank our P&F for your support of the School. In the midst of a difficult couple of days, we felt very reassured that we are trusted and valued by our School community.

The morning tea was a small part of the significant contribution the P&F have made to the 2019 school year. They have assembled groups of volunteers for events such as our Columba Day festivities, Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day breakfast and Matilda the Musical performances, as well as organising groups of parents to help out at school such as contacting books in the library. We are grateful for the time and effort they give to the School.

To get involved with our P&F head over to their Facebook Group and come along to one of their catch ups or Parent Connect Seminars. The next seminar will be held on Friday November 22 from 8.00am to 8.30am in the School Chapel. You can find more information and RSVP here.
