This week, I had the privilege of spending two days with the Year 12 SLC members at the SCAS Leadership Retreat. Mrs Pattinson and I were totally inspired by the exemplary behaviour, ideas and teamwork shown by our Year 12 Leaders on both days. We were joined by Mr Guihot, Rev. Cornish, Year 12 Alumni students and a member from the Mid North Coast Police District, who all generously gave their time to invest in the next generation of leaders at SCAS.
The fine young people in the SLC are truly spectacular young leaders who clearly showed their desire to make this great school even greater. Their goal for the year ahead is to build on the efforts of the previous leadership teams and to create greater connections in the school community after three years of pandemic disruptions.
Thank you so much to the SLC team for your ideas and honesty – you are all a constant source of inspiration, and I am blessed to be the senior citizen of the SLC team in 2023.
