In reflecting on the past week and the upcoming events at our school, I am reminded of the remarkable accomplishments of our students.
Recently, a group of our students represented our school at the North Coast Anglican School Country Week in Coffs Harbour. Their conduct as ambassadors was commendable, displaying both sportsmanship and resilience. While not every competition went in their favor, our students persevered with determination. Noteworthy achievements were witnessed, with our Junior Netballers and Chess players clinching first place on the day, and our volleyball team securing the runner-up position. The sense of community was evident during the netball final, where even teams that did not achieve victory joined in to celebrate success.
In the weeks to come, we will be recognising students who have excelled in various fields, and I look forward to these moments of collective celebration. It’s crucial that we view these accomplishments as opportunities to strengthen our community bonds. Regardless of individual outcomes, we are all integral parts of something positive, and together, we can continue to grow and thrive.

1. Secondary End of Year Achievement Awards: Wednesday, November 29th, 12.30pm in the Iona Sports Stadium.
2. An Evening of Celebration Year 6 to 12 Awards: Wednesday, December 6th, 6.00pm at the Glasshouse.
3. My Learning Story presentations (presented via Google Meet with students to organise for their parents to access):
